TV News Summer Project (part 2)

This is part 2 of my TV News Summer Project

The programme BBC Breakfast is broadcast on BBC 1, a channel which was launched on the 20th April 1964 although it still existed in 1936, when it had a different name, BBC Television Service. It was called that until 1960, and then BBC TV until 1964, when it was changed to BBC One, and it has stayed that way ever since. The channel is owned by the BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation and it is famous/well known for broadcasting the News and documentaries.

Its sister channels are: BBC two, BBC three, BBC four, BBC Parliament, BBC news, CBBC, and Cbeebies. CBBC and Cbeebies are channels specifically for children.

The most watched program ever on BBC one was Eastenders, the episode shown on Christmas Day, 1986.

This is the trailer for the investigation drama series Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Watson. This show is also shown on BBC 1.
